GTA 6 Map: Leonida & Vice City

Grand Theft Auto VI is set in the fictional U.S. state of Leonida, Rockstar's modern take on Florida, built around a reborn Vice City. Early footage points to a world roughly twice the size of GTA V's. Here are every confirmed region.

Leonida region by region

Vice City

Rockstar’s Miami

Leonida’s glowing centrepiece and the studio’s long-awaited comeback to its Miami analogue. Sun-bleached beaches, art-deco façades, towering downtown blocks and after-dark nightlife make this the map’s main stage.

Leonida Keys

A take on the Florida Keys

A string of tropical islets off the southern shore, and home turf for Jason. Look for powerboats, dive spots and easy-going seaside settlements strung along the water.

Grassrivers

An Everglades stand-in

A sprawling marshland of airboats, dirt bikes and wild gators — a strong hint at hunting and survival-flavoured play once you leave the city lights behind.

Port Gellhorn

Worn Gulf-coast city

A rough-edged port on Leonida’s northwest shoulder — a former holiday stop now defined by motels, truck stops, liquor stores and a thriving grey market.

Ambrosia

A named Leonida region

Among the regions Rockstar flagged in the reveal, filling out Leonida’s patchwork of cities, suburban sprawl and open countryside.

Mount Kalaga

Highland national park

Leonida’s raised, tree-covered national park — a landscape of lakes, rivers and mountain trails with predatory wildlife, echoing the backcountry of Red Dead Redemption 2.

How big is the GTA 6 map?

Exact figures are still under wraps, but the footage so far — and the reach of the named regions, from the Leonida Keys in the south to Port Gellhorn and the Mount Kalaga highlands — suggests a world clearly bigger and more varied than the Los Santos and Blaine County of GTA V. Picture tightly packed streets, wetlands, shoreline, suburbs and backcountry all stitched into one seamless map, with far more interiors and above- and below-water exploration than before.
